Phát hiện mới mẻ nhất về Cái Ác, của Morton, theo người điểm sách, đó là, ai cũng ác như nhau, nhân chi sơ tính...  bản ác, nhưng, với những con người thường thường bậc trung, thì chỉ muốn ác... khơi khơi thế thôi", đếch có dám biến nó thành hiện thực! [Morton thinks that what marks out evil-doers from the rest of us is not so much their desires, which are, on the whole, little different from anyone else's, but they are able to transmute their desires into actions: Ai cũng thèm... ác như nhau, có hơn kém thì cũng tí ti thôi, nhưng mấy ông... [mấy ông 'chấm chấm chấm' đó] có khả năng biến cái muốn của họ đó thành hành động].
Và đây là cái rào cản, mà Morton gọi là "lý thuyết rào cản về cái ác" [the barrier theory of evil]. Theo người điểm sách, lý thuyết này có cái hay là giải hoặc, demystifying, cái ác, coi  đó như là cơ sở, để, mỗi khi bị cái ác nó quần, thì theo đó mà ứng phó, không đến nỗi khiếp vía rùng rùng cả nước chạy ra biển!

Member of the Advisory Board of the University of Belgrade. Member of the Board of "Politika", Newspaper. Radio and TV co, Belgrade.
His publications include 6 books, 4 brochures and about 130 journal articles translated into 14 languages. As one of the leading dissidents under Tito, together with 7 other professors from the so called Praxis-group, was expelled from the University of Belgrade, in January 1975.
